As a local New Orleanian, everyone here KNOWS the summer heat is absolutely brutal. Suffocating. Sweltering. It's not a joke. (I wish it were). As a New Orleans newborn and motherhood photographer, I have done several sessions outdoors--and let me tell you, the images are stunningly beautiful, but the HEAT is killer. Sweat trickling down your forehead and your back while you are all decked out for portraits is well...you get the picture.
As an alternate, AC included option, you could have a photo session in your own home. While this is a lovely option...some moms do not want the hassle of cleaning their home and decluttering soon after giving birth to ready the house for the photographer. Some moms do not like their house enough for portraits to be taken in.
